Repairs

GENERAL INFORMATION

• All AZARAI rings come with a one-year limited warranty which covers ONE complimentary cleaning. Please note that rhodium-plating is an additional charge
• We can complete all other repairs in our workshop for a nominal fee. A receipt MUST accompany all warranty repairs
• Without a receipt, repairs are chargeable, so please retain your receipts after purchase
• Repair services in our workshop are available to Azarai customers only. We are unfortunately unable to accept repair work for non-Azarai purchases

STANDARD REPAIRS

All standard repairs and customizations are sent to our jewelry workshop locally and require FOURTEEN working days for completion.

The FOURTEEN working days excludes weekends, and public holidays so please plan accordingly.

RING RESIZING

• We are able to resize rings by one size up or down
• To resize your ring, we make a small incision in the band and reduce or tighten it as required. Once that’s completed, the gap is soldered and polished to seamlessly hide any evidence of alterations

RESIZING EXCLUSIONS

• Eternity rings and rings with a continuous pattern cannot be resized due to their design, but they can be exchanged under our 7-day policy subject to availability
• Alternative materials (such as titanium and carbon fibre) cannot be resized but they can be exchanged under our 7-day policy subject to availability
• Two-tone rings and hybrid rings cannot be resized but can be exchanged under our 7-day policy subject to availability
• Custom rings can be resized but are subject to resizing fees
• Please resize your rings PRIOR to having it engraved. We cannot guarantee the integrity of the engraving after resizing
• Please note that rings that have been resized cannot be returned or exchanged

COMPLEX REPAIRS

We are happy to assist with more complicated repairs outside the scope outlined above. This includes damage due to normal wear and tear and physical damage, whether accidental or otherwise.

Please note that for some complex repairs, there are limitations to what can be repaired locally due to the non-availability of highly technical equipment or raw materials.

For this reason, we offer customers a factory repair where the repair work will be undertaken in an overseas facility to ensure the best quality.

FACTORY REPAIRS

For factory repairs, the ring is melted down and completely rebuilt from scratch as brand-new. Please note that factory repairs take a minimum of 12 weeks and are only available for solid gold wedding rings.

We cannot undertake a factory repair on sterling silver or titanium rings.

In some circumstances, unfortunately, it may not be possible to repair the damaged item.

Please note that all repair due dates are estimates only and could take longer or shorter based on individual circumstances.

EXPRESS FEE

For urgent repairs that are required in less than FOURTEEN working days, an express fee of ₦15,000 is payable.

Express jobs are pushed to the top of the queue and are completed in SEVEN working days.
